Gentle Hands - Gift bag from the Soap Workshop
Gift bag with everything to keep hands soft and well cared for
Like our other soaps, the soap is made from organic oils, of which 40% is organic virgin olive oil. Handmade soaps are usually less drying than industrial soaps, as they have a high content of natural glycerin and some unsaponified oil.
Weight: approx. 100 g.
An effective, repairing balm, good against cracks and fissures and dry skin. The balm consists of organic virgin olive oil, organic marigold, which has a healing and soothing effect, organic beeswax and organic shea butter, which both have a protective and softening effect. Shea butter is a product that is often included in creams and soaps precisely because of its nurturing, protective properties.
Finally, the balm is added with a little essential oil of rosemary and lemon, both good oils for the hands.
Content: approx. 44 g.
Please note that this hand balm is smaller than the hand balm that can be bought separately, which contains 75 grams.
The soap workshop's gift bags
The bags are made especially for the Soap Workshop from handmade paper from Nepal. The paper is made from wood pulp, which is harvested by cutting young plants down to knee height. This allows the plant to grow back. The plants are pruned every 2-3 years without them dying and leaving uncultivated areas.
Making paper is a very old and traditional craft in Nepal. The technique used in paper production is 2000 years old. We buy the bags from an organization that supports poor artisans by giving them tasks of this kind.
The organization gets a profit from this trade, which goes to disadvantaged women and children in Nepal.
